Chapter Director, University of Toronto Chapter

  • This is an executive position under the National branch
  • Immediate supervisor: National Director
  • Payment and Benefits: This is an unpaid, volunteer position. Accessible Medics will cover the cost of incurred expenses
    (such as travel) where appropriate
  • Time Commitment: 1 bi-weekly meeting (30 minutes to 1 hour in length), 2-3 hours of work weekly; limited
    unscheduled meetings as required
  • Duration: one-year term commencing Jan 1st 2019
  • Responsibilities:
    • Independently recruit and lead a campus team to fundraise for the Accessible Medics national program
    • Respond to public inquiries regarding Accessible Medics UofT
    • Establish a brand presence at UofT
    • Liaison with National Director of Accessible Medics
    • Attend meetings with professors, corporate representatives, university management

    • Prior experience from clubs, non-profits, or corporations is mandatory

Operations Manager, National Executive

  • This is an executive position under the National branch
  • Immediate supervisor: National Director

  • Responsibilities:
    • Review and triage applications for the Public EMS Insurance Program (PEIP) in an objective and timely manner
    • Work with national-level executives to revise admissions criteria for PEIP as needed
    • Report quarterly statistics from PEIP to national-level executives
    • Ensure the national database of beneficiaries is frequently updated
    • Respond to client/beneficiary inquires
    • Handle client/beneficiary claims
  • Qualifications:
    • Minimum 2 years experience managing university clubs
    • Completion of privacy and confidentiality training at any accredited research hospital or scientific laboratory

  • This is an executive position under the Western University chapter
